One of the lightest synthetic insulated pants around, the MontBell Ultralight Thermawrap Pants offers superb warmth at only 10oz (medium). Insulated with 50g of Exceloft, this jacket not only retains its warmth when wet; its weight only increases by just 1% when it's completely soaked. However, with a DWR-coated 15d Ballistic Airlight nylon shell, you'd fall in the river to get the insulation of these pants wet. Thanks to full-length sidezips, the Ultralight Thermawraps are easy to put on over all of your other layers. Made for ice and alpine climbing, the Ultralight pants add some much-needed warmth to your fast-and-light ascent.
