Twenty-two Designs' HammerHead Binding is a versatile and powerful telemark binding. The two-inch spring is easily adjusted to five dramatically different positions that change the flex of the binding. Leave the spring in its neutral setting during climbs, and preload it for powerful carves during descents. You get a responsive flex that puts the power to the edges of the ski when you drop a knee. Twenty-two Designs made the toepiece with a six-hold mounting pattern that won't pull out and leave you walking out of the backcountry. Rocker launch, which is caused by stiff plastic boots flexing only across the toes, is virtually eliminated with the HammerHead's powerful underfoot cable routing and long toepiece. The HammerHead can be adjusted to fit any size boot without tools.
