Developed for touring over the Swiss Glaciers, AK Ski's Pro Mountain Ski is a light and stiff touring board. With a mid-fat shape (110/71/100mm) these skis are lean enough for multi-day tours, and they lend crampon-like edge grip across sketchy traverses. AK Skis builds the Pro Mountain by hand with over 20 layers of laminated wood that give the ski a powerful flex and stiff lateral edge. The Pro Mountain Skis have a low swing weight and are stiff so they're responsive enough to pop quick turns between trees and stiff enough to hold a bomber edge on hardpack.
