The Alpina CCS Skate Boot is the same super-light World Cup Champ worn by the pros. The low-volume racing boot focuses on fit to improve your performance. The posi-fit system allows you to adjust the snugness around your Achilles to provide better heel lock. You won't get blisters or waste any energy sloshing around inside your boots. The carbon fiber cuff is topped with a full wraparound power strap similar to alpine boots. This provides better wrap around your calf muscle, giving you more authority over your skis on descents and better push during your skate stride. At the request of pro skiers who couldn't afford to have their boots loosen during a race, Alpina eliminated the speed-lace system from the boots. The new Pebex racing sole offers more consistent flex across a broad range of temperatures. Alpina even includes an anatomic footbed, which provides great absorption, quick wicking, and far more support than a stock bed.
