A Semi-Beta profile and forgiving sidecut make the RS:8 more stable with hardly any reduction in glide speed. After all, no amount of speed will do you any good if you're on your face. A High Densolite core gives the RS:8 excellent durability and makes these skis light and quick. For the budget conscious and beginning racers, the RS:8 is a lot of ski for a little money.
