Autumn Magic Chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa) begins its three-season performance with a fragrant shower of white blossoms in spring. Glossy dark green leaves set off the late-summer berries, which are a deep purple/black—a favorite treat for birds of all kinds. Fall brings a dramatic show of bright red and purple leaves. Performs best in full sun to part shade and is tolerant of most soil types. Shipped in 1-gallon containers starting in mid-September through late October.
