The Backcountry Access Tour Shovel System is the ultimate in lightweight, space-saving, and most importantly, life-saving backcountry gear. The world's lightest aluminum shovel, the Tour has a super-strong oval shaft that's easy to grip with a gloved hand. A T-grip is easy to use and can be looped through and worn without a pack with user-supplied webbing or rope. Of course, the shining feature of the Tour Shovel System is its ultra-compact capacity with a 6-foot probe that stows inside the shovel shaft. The 6000-series aluminum blade with oval ferrule is super strong, and unlike some lightweight composite blades, can power through set-up snow and ice. AVAILABLE IN FIXED AND EXTENDABLE LENGTHS.
