Product Description
The Black Diamond Contact Anti-Balling System (ABS) reduces snow pilling underneath your Contact crampons allowing a more secure placement, as well as making travel much easier. The patent-pending Contact ABS provides a durable, secure way of inhibiting snow balling. Injection-molded plates screw on easily, are super secure, and can handle the abuse of glacial talus.
Bottom Line: A must for users of the Contact crampon. No one likes kicking off a 15lb ball of snow under your foot while attacking a 60 degree headwall!
