Here again Record has combined in one component, in this case its bottom bracket, the seemingly opposite and mutually exclusive qualities of very light weight and extraordinary rigidity. In part this is the result of using a carbon fiber spacer joint and an oversized axle pin. The Campagnolo bottom bracket is a truncated taper. It interfaces perfectly with the crankset to convert the rider's energy into motion with maximum efficiency. It is a time-proven design that has long been the design of choice for winning professional teams in Europe and the U.S. For triple crankset, choose 68x111(ENG) or 70x111mm (ITA) axle.
