Product Description Elan's MO2 Alpine Ski is built for grinding rails in the park and gaining maximum amplitude in the pipe. Elan adds what they call a third edge underneath the binding. It's a piece of metal impregnated in the ski's base that runs the length of the binding and increases the life of the ski for rail grinding. An aggressive sidecut means you'll be able to initiate a hard carve at the bottom of the pipe and carry your speed into the next hit. The tails of the MO2 are stiffer than most pipe skis, giving them more snap and power coming out of the pipe. When you get sick of riding in the park and want to rip some groomers, take the MO2s to explore the rest of the mountain. They're built with the same vertical sidewall and wood core as the rest of Elan's all-mountain M-Series, so you can count on a powerful edge hold and damp feeling even at high speeds.
Bottom Line: A burly park ski that wants to take on the whole mountain.
