The Garmont Mega Ride G-Fit Alpine Touring Boot is a 4-buckle boot with enough drive to push around the fattest skis needed by aggressive freeriders. But don't let its high cuff and alpine-boot look fool you; this is Garmont's lightest 4-buckle boot, and it's great for classic go-fast tours. Use it with Dynafit bindings for ultralight tours and with traditional step-in alpine touring bindings when skinning for turns. The Mega Ride comes with a G-Fit2 High Custom thermo-formable liner which boasts the highest and stiffest fit while sporting a flex panel for touring comfort. The G-Fit liner features a tongue design that maintains the shell's forward lean, is more responsive to forward pressure, and provides better ankle flex than overlap designs. Garmont developed this 4-buckle boot for the aggressive ski mountaineer who wants one boot that satisfies the widest variety of needs.
