Product Description
Helly Hansen used a new fabric welding technique, instead of stitching, to make the Men's RFT Trunk a seamless, ultra-strong, and impervious water-short. Radio Frequency welding fuses materials together by applying radio-frequency energy to the areas that need joining. The resulting weld on the RTF Trunk acts as strongly as the original uncut-material and is impervious, as no needle holes are created. The RFT Trunk's polyester material dries quickly, making sure you are as comfortable out of the water as you are in the water. This Helly Hansen trunk is as technical as water shorts can get and functions that way for sports like kayaking, rafting, swimming, or surfing. The RFT Trunk uses LIFA material around the waistband to not only keep you dry, but minimize chafing when wearing a harness. The LIFA waistband makes these Helly Hansen water trunks especially great for amphibious climbing.
Bottom Line: Welded for strength and seamlessness, the RFT Trunk is as technical as water shorts can get.
