If you're looking for a full-coverage pack to get your stuff to the summit this ain't it -this next-to-nothing pack carries skis and that's it. Going in deep with minimum protection isn't for everyone but for those that are into that sort of thing, and don't have too much junk in the trunk, the G-String holds the essentials in place. The Lariat Ski System uses a retractable lasso to strap skis down as you head up. Always practice safe skiing.
