Product Description
Integral Designs Siltarp2 is designed for 2-3 people looking for an ultra lightweight shelter, tent awning, wind/rain shelter or covered gear storage. At 14oz the Siltarp2 is light enough to take on all trips. This Minimalist tarp is a 8x10 ft rectangular tarp made from ultra light waterproof nylon. The 30 denier parachute ripstop nylon with silicon impregnation weighs only 1.35 oz per sq yard. It is incredibly strong and resilient. The Siltarp2 has a seam down the center of the 10 ft length, which provides extra strength but does require manual sealing (Silnet seam sealant included). There is 1 lightweight nylon tie loop sewn to a reinforced center patch and there are 16 lightweight nylon webbing loops sewn to the corners and at 2 ft intervals along the edges. These loops facilitate a variety of set ups on trekking poles, off trees or onto tents.
Bottom Line: The Integral Designs Siltarp2 sleeps 2 –3 people on minimalist, light-and-fast expeditions.
