The Julbo Micropore with Spectron X4 lens is identical to the Micropore Alti Arc X8 [JUL0003] but without the super dark lens. The X4 reduces visible light transmission by 87% making them a bit more versatile for all-winter use. They feature a bi-gradient glass lens with anti-glare protection, removable and vented leather side shields, moldable temples, and—the feature they're named for—a micropore self-venting nose bridge that delivers fog-free performance. Their wind protection is incredible, as well. An excellent choice for snowshoers, snowboarders, resort skiers and backcountry skiers. Julbo has over a century under their belt of making the finest glacier and ski glasses in the world, and these are no exception.
Bottom Line: Great protection for a multitude of bright light and windy conditions. Julbo makes some of the finest sunglasses in the world.
