Leather remains unbeatable for comfort and long life, and in the Banff Lowa has coupled it with state of the art design. A stiff backpacking Vibram sole with a shock absorbing midsole are ready to tackle the biggest, meanest scree fields out there and a climate control insole will keep you from drowning in sweat on long backpacking trips. The Banff is designed to accommodate a wide variety of gaits, thanks to Lowa's AWP system, which cants the ankle of men's boots out slightly and raises the inner cuff to improve the rolling motion. A carefully constructed insole with pronation and supination zones gives optimum stabilization no matter what your stride looks like. THIS BOOT RUNS LARGE.
