Designed specifically for alpine climbers and mountaineers, this Gore-Tex XCR shell is completely waterproof and very breathable. You can battle your way through the nastiest winter snowstorm and come out dry and comfortable on the other end is this seam-taped shell. Cut with an athletic fit, the Pillar doesn't bunch up around your harness or pack straps, but still moves with your body enough to allow full range of motion. The ERG hood rolls up out of the way and is big enough to fit over a climbing helmet. If you're serious about winter climbing, this jacket will treat you well.
