Outdoor Research designed the Couloir Glove for arcing deep turns all day in the backcountry. These gloves have the same features as their unisex counterparts but offer a specialized, female-specific fit. They are slightly narrower through the hands and have less overall volume. The fingers are relatively longer in proportion to the size, making them ideal for slimmer hands. This longer-gauntlet glove features a waterproof Gore-Tex XCR insert, a durable Taslan shell, waterproof leather palm, progressive-curve architecture, and a seam-guarded, 3-panel thumb; all of which combine to give you a highly waterproof, breathable glove that is also exceptionally durable and still dexterous. The Moonlight Pile fleece palm and 6oz fleece on the back of the hand keep those phalanges warm all day so you can charge long after your friends have thrown in the towel.
Bottom Line: The Couloir Gloves let you make turn after sweet turn — they keep the snow out so you can stay out in the snow.
