Rossignol's BC X9 Backcountry boot is a classic design with state-of-the-art materials and construction. The BC X9 has a 75mm toe that will fit in your old wooden cross country skis or Super Telemark bindings from Rottefella, Alpina, or Rossignol. But this boot far more burly than your old ankle-high leather boots. The BC X9 Backcountry boot is made with a nylon midsole that lends a stiffer flex and more control over the ski on downhills. You can even crank telemark turns in these badass boots. The liner is heat moldable through the heel and arch. You can customize the fit to keep your heel locked down, which will prevent blisters on long tours. The snow stays out thanks to a high cuff and zippered laces cover.
