Get up early, hike a ridge for some fresh tracks, and then divide the rest of your day between groomers and glades in the Rossignol Men's Elite Bandit 2 Alpine Ski Boot. The Bandit 2 has Rossignol's Active Cockpit, which puts harder more responsive plastic close to your foot and softer plastic on the outside of the shell. This bi-injected shell makes the boot extremely responsive while offering a smooth flex and better fit. It has an smooth forward flex, so it's more forgiving than a racing boot in the chop or in powder. Laterally the boot is very stiff, so you can still leave your stomach a few turns behind when you're screaming down the hardpack. Rossignol's shock-absorbing boot board smoothes out vibrations on big sweeping turns through uneven snow. The Elite Bandit 2 is for freeriders with average width feet; it has a snug, narrow heel and medium-fit forefoot. Rossignol made the liner from EVA foam; when it's heated it shapes to your foot for a custom fit.
