The Diesel features the New Autopilot Flight Control System, a Slingshot innovation designed to provide easy launch assist in the water, land, and snow. It also provides superb upwind capabilities and smooth transition of power in gusty conditions. For mountain terrain and conditions, the Diesel is extremely forgiving. The Diesel 9 performs better in wind ranges around 20 knots, while the 15 prefers winds around 12 knots.
